Project Management Entry Post

Throughout this course I have learned what it takes to complete a real project. Reflecting to the mastery course I was thinking of the different greene laws and the enriching text from Maxwell. One thing I distinctly remember and that I will never forget is that leadership is not something automatic. It is a skill must be watered, neutered, and learned. I used that for my Project Management course by adopting certain styles with being a Project Manager. For instance: In the Risk Management plan I took a halfway strict approach as well as a compromising approach. The greatest job I have ever worked in was ran like a family so with adopting that idea I had to make some adjustments. Half of my Risk Management plan was a non-bullying policy that prohibited certain aspects from: Downtalking to Belittling. One of greenes laws were that you have to exercise the right of patience when it comes to making certain moves, while a chapter from Maxwell that I recall is that as a leader you can’t be a friend all the time. Which that would be a luxury if all my rules were followed, but you never know if people are used to a chaotic workspace or not. This course has showed me what it looks like to be in the room with the executives and involved in planning and decisions. For instance: I can take these qualifications and maybe freelance in project management to startup businesses or even just new projects that certain companies are working on. In simpler terms I could be like a contractor. I am grateful for this course as well because it has taught me how to allocate certain funds towards certain things and a more strategic way to display my business ideas. So much for my old business plan..
